CREDITS: after lengthy research into other music videos we came to the conclusion that we would not be adding credits to the video beginning of the video as it is not in line with the music industry and our genre as a whole. The idea of credits comes from the media companies that play the videos like MTV who will put there on credits at the beginning and end of the video, but the videos themselves do not have credits and this is why we wont be doing it.

INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH

I have been looking into a lot of the artists that are similar to our artist in terms of the music that they produce and the messages that they try and put forward through there music and these include people like Lupe fiasco and Lethal Bizzle and these are people that you would be likely to see on things like MTV or hear on the radio and that is the more mainstream but with a political twist kind of market our artist JOEY would be looking to get into.

There are of course many different labels that they could be signed to and they’re different but similar with their aims. It could be something like Atlantic in America, which has artists like Lupe Fiasco, Craig David and missy Elliot all of whom are in our R&B genre as well as promoting their big name artists they also promote up and coming artist that need a start and that would be the kind of thing that our artist would be looking to get into.
There is other as well though things like search and destroy which lethal bizzle is attached to and that although not a predominately R&B group support a lot of up and coming artists and we feel that this is the kind of area that they should be aiming for.
